Our Caramel Corn Story

Grandma Terry's Legacy

Grandma Terry was born on July 4th, 1933, during the Great Depression, a time when families cherished every valuable item. Known for her exceptional recipes, Grandma Terry's collection dates back to 1854 when her family immigrated to the United States. Among these treasured recipes is her crown jewel – caramel corn, a recipe over 100 years old. This caramel corn was a holiday favorite, shared only with close friends and family. Friends from all over the Northeast would visit her home to exchange their holiday best for this coveted treat.

Passing the Torch

In 2014, when the recipes were compiled into a book, Grandma Terry's grandson began learning the art of her most cherished recipes. Every Thanksgiving, he would spend time with Grandma Terry, perfecting the caramel corn under her strict supervision. As Grandma Terry could no longer produce large quantities, her grandson took over the tradition, ensuring the caramel corn continued to delight friends and family.

Growing Demand

The demand for caramel corn grew as friends of the grandson began placing orders in advance of the holidays. With Grandma Terry's blessing, the project to make her treasured caramel corn available to the public began in 2020. Now, you too can enjoy this delightful treat.
